Cybersecurity! The attacks still keep coming!

I’m sure everyone is painfully aware about COVID-19 as well as the “Work from home” / “Stay at home” orders. Due to current events, ECInfoSec has not been able to continue with our previously scheduled in person presentations. So, in the spirit of social distancing and through the power of technology, ECInfoSec is putting on a group cybersecurity event where we can get together and hack some boxes on HackTheBox!

We don’t ask that you have any prior experience for this event, but we do ask that you come with the following completed:
• A fully updated installation of Kali Linux
• Created a Discord account and join the ECInfoSec server
• RSVP using this Meetup event

Both subscriptions that you will need of Discord and HackTheBox are free! While both have paid options, we will not need them for this presentation but you are encouraged to show your support. ?

HackTheBox does like to keep their CTF box solutions in the current rotation confidential. We do ask that you don’t record this presentation. We will be doing the same.

Here are the details on our next Meetup. Hope you can make it!
